Effective October 9, 2023
Due to the upcoming merge of United Community Bank into Bravera Bank on October 9, 2023, your account(s) will be automatically transitioned and converted to the closest match possible in services and features with Bravera Bank. Below is a guide to your new account.
In addition, the routing number of Bravera Bank will be used (091310615). Current checks will continue to be honored at all locations.

Debit Cards
If you have a debit card, you will receive a new card starting the week of September 18. You will need to start using this card beginning Monday, October 9, when your current card will no longer work.

Online & Mobile Banking
As a result of the merge, we will be conducting a system upgrade beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 6 until the start of the business day on Monday, October 9. Online Banking will not be available during this time.

Account Conversion
Effective Monday, October 9, your accounts and online services will be officially converted to Bravera Bank. Debit cards can be activated and PINs can be set by calling 1-800-290-7893.

Certificates of Deposit
There will be no changes to your Certificate of Deposit (CD) rate or terms due to the merge. We’re excited to announce enhancements, such as additions and upgrades to our CDs. Additions can be made on any CD between the terms of 3 to 18 months. There are no limitations on the frequency or timing of additional deposits, except no additions can be made in the last seven days before maturity. The minimum amount you can deposit is $1,000 and the maximum amount you can deposit is $100,000. The maturity date of this account will remain the same after additional deposits.
Upgrades to the interest rate on any CD between the terms of 19 to 60 months are available. The interest rate may be adjusted once during the first term at the customer’s request. The new rate will take effect the business day we receive the written request and will remain in effect until the end of the original term. The new interest rate will be the same as the current posted rate we offer on new CD accounts with the same term and minimum balance (if any) as the original CD. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
There will be no changes to your Three Year Easy Start IRA rate or terms due to the merge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still use my existing check blanks? Yes, you can continue to use your current check blanks. When it is time to re-order, you’ll receive new checks with Bravera Bank information on them. If you would like new checks right away, feel free to stop in and we’ll order them for you.
Will my account number change? No, your account number will stay the same with the exception of duplicate account numbers. If your account number was one of them, you will receive an additional letter to explain the change.
Will I have to change my Online Banking ID and password? Your user ID will remain the same. Your new password will default to the last four digits of your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number. Upon initial login, you will be prompted to change your password using multi-factor authentication.
Will my Bill Pay accounts transfer over? Yes, all payees, scheduled payments and history will transfer over to your new Online Banking account.
Will my automatic loan payments and deposits still be made? Yes. There is no need to change any of your existing automatic loan payments or deposits. However, beginning October 9, 2023, if you are establishing a new payment or deposit, it would be beneficial for you to use the routing number for Bravera Bank (091310615).
Will you be open the same hours? Yes, our hours will not change.
Can I still call the staff in Burlington, Drake and Leeds to answer my account questions? Absolutely. Our same local, friendly staff is here to assist you with any of your banking needs.
Are loan decisions made local? Yes. Loan decisions will remain local.
