What makes your partnership work?
Kami: Personalities! We are both work-orientated people, always looking at the bigger picture.
Jon: Kami and I simply understand the value of each other. With Kami handling our client’s insurance and myself handling loans and the banking side of the equation, we easily work well together.
How does working together help you to better serve customers?
Kami: Lending and insurance go hand in hand. It makes it easy for our clients to have a one stop shop to take care of both of their banking and insurance needs.
Jon: When a customer makes a machinery or equipment change, it’s easy for us to share information as we’re under the same roof so the customer’s banking and insurance coverages are handled appropriately.
What's your favorite thing about the Northwood community?
Kami: The people and businesses. Everyone likes to work together to keep our community going.
Jon: Being relatively new to Northwood, I’d say my favorite thing about this community is the small-town vibe. In the summers, we can drive our golf cart to the public park and pool, and our kids have so much fun.
Why did you pick sugar and spice to represent your duo?
Kami: I’m direct and get to the point while Jon sweetens the deal and can sugarcoat when needed.
Do you like spicy food?
Kami: Not on fire spicy, but it definitely needs a little kick!
Jon: I do like spicy food! I’m getting more and more into hot flavors as I get older. It’s fun to try new foods and spice.
