Bravera Bank

Intern Spotlight: Riley Hauff

Bravera Bank welcomed Riley Hauff as an Intern based in Drake. Riley graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, with an associate's degree in business economics.  Riley worked through a variety of tasks to expose her to the many facets of banking, which made it a great experience for everyone involved. Here is what she had to say about here experience:

What drew you to apply for an internship with Bravera?

Bravera was my first choice for an internship since I am pursuing a finance degree and I knew that I would be able to gain important knowledge that would be beneficial. I also was interested because the internship would help give me some direction of what career I would want in the future. I knew all of our branch employees from before and I knew I would enjoy working with them.

What knowledge have you gained from your internship?

From my internship, I have learned a lot of the internal workings of how banks run and operate. My skills in customer service, productivity, time management, and courage to ask questions, have all increased from my time at Bravera and thanks to all the employees I have been able to work with.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?

The most rewarding part of my internship has been knowing that I am helping people. Whether it's assisting customers with their questions and concerns or helping my co-workers with tasks to improve efficiency, everyone is always so grateful.

What would you tell a student who is looking for an internship?

I would say to definitely do it. Bravera has been so flexible with schedules and uncertainty that it has made every day go with ease. As an intern, if you say that you want to see what a different department is like, they make it work for you to go experience it.
