Dynamic Duos: Jeana Rynestad & Janelle Weaver
Peanut butter and jelly are both delicious on their own, but together they make a great combination. Similarly, Burlington Branch Manager Jeana Rynestad and Relationship Banker Janelle Weaver make an incredible team.
How long have you worked together?
Jeana: 30 years.
Janelle: Jeana & I have worked together for 30 years! I can’t believe the time has gone so fast!
What are the best parts of your job?
Jeana: Making a difference in someone’s life, by helping them achieve their savings goals or helping with a loan to purchase something they’ve been wanting like a vehicle, boat, or motorcycle.
Janelle: The best parts of my job are interacting with co-workers & customers.
What do you do for fun at work?
Jeana: We tell each other silly stories about our grandkids and families.
Janelle: We celebrate birthdays & bring treats once in a while to have fun at work. We also share pictures & talk about our families activities.
What have you learned from each other?
Jeana: I’m such a detail person and Janelle is so good at making connections with people. We can use one another’s strengths to learn and grow.
Janelle: We share new things we have learned at work to save time & make everything easier. I have learned not to multi-task from Jeana. It’s best to get one thing done & not be in the middle of too many projects.
What's your favorite thing about your community?
Jeana: I love that we personally know the majority of our customers. Over the years we have seen kids grow to adults and now have families of their own.
Janelle: My favorite things about our community is: it is a small town; we have a good school; the people are friendly.
